Why I Love London At Christmas Time…

Man, I love Christmas! It usually means a trip to London to see friends or family and this year was no different. I love London at Christmas for a variety of reasons, but there is just something so special about the bustle of the streets (or madness, chaos and ridiculousness). The lights, the smells, the dark evenings – it’s just so wintery and lovely!

Above are a mix of pictures that I took on my recent trips to London, the decorations were on point as usual (I saw about a million christmas trees and loads of baubles!)

I especially love walking around Carnaby street and not just because my favourite beauty shops live down there. It was amazing going to Trafalgar Square as well as it meant a quick stop at the National Portrait Gallery and that was a really lovely experience as it was my first time there!

I think there’s just something really special about London and it makes it feel a bit like a mini holiday. If you live in a small town like I do, it’s just so different to be surrounded by that London buzz, amazing food and restaurants and AWESOME shops – it’s really such a special Christmassy experience and I hope I get to go for many, many years to come.

What are your favourite Christmas traditions? Anything you do every single year without fail?

*apart from eat everything in sight and veg in front of the tv…no? Just me?!*
