I’ve got a really exciting post for you, as I’m going to be showing you what I got in my September Birchbox! 🙂
I’ve been loving getting the Birchboxes each month and I’ve found that they are getting a bit more varied in my opinion, which I really like. You get a mix of skincare, haircare and make up bits and I’ve quite liked the variety that you get.
This month’s Heroes Birchbox (cost of £12.95 as usual, inc P&P) has got just that, a real mix with a full size make up product from Model Co!
In this month’s box, we have:
- Nuxe Prodigieux Precious Scented Shower Oil , sample size, £12.06 for full 200ml
This scented shower oil has a pretty gold shimmer running through it and it smells musky and oriental which I love. I’d never bought or used anything from the Nuxe Skincare range so I’m intrigued to use this – will save this for a trip away as a little mini to take with me!
- Bioderma Hydrabio Serum Moisturising Concentrate, sample size, £18 for full 40ml
This serum has an almost water-like consistency, which is odd but kind of cool! Bioderma is really amazing brand – their micellar cleansing liquid is a cult favourite amongst so many beauty bloggers. I like the look of this serum, I’ve applied it and it really does sink into the skin so easily. My skin gets really dry so I’m definitely going to rotate this into my skincare routine like an [insert footballer bench sporting analogy here].
- Nailtiques Formula 2 Nail Protein, full size, £7.90
This formula is designed for weak, brittle nails and it is a treatment to stimulate growth and healthier nails. This is actually a product I don’t need – my nails grow so quickly and are really healthy so I reckon I’ll pass this on to someone! It’s definitely a great value product to get in this box though which I’m impressed by.
- Model Co Highlighting Trio, full size, this costs £17!!!! WTH man
I’m still reeling at that price, I’m surprised at that actually. Though, I’ve swatched this highlighting trio and I think the pinky blush highlight is my favourite! You can see swatches below 🙂 this is a cream highlight which is really easy to use, you just need to dot this over your cheekbones and on your brow bone too if you fancy it.
- Amika: Bombshell Blowout Spray, sample size, £21.72 for full 237ml
Lastly in the box is this little sample blowout spray which I’m really intrigued about. To me, this just looks like it would smell damn good. Just the packaging alone is telling me that – it’s so colourful and cool! I like the idea of blowout sprays, or at least products that you can put into your hair (especially sprays) while it’s wet. This even has heat protectant! Am really happy to have got this in this month’s box 😀
All in all, again another great month! Am hoping to get alot of use out of the Model Co highlight and the Blowout spray!
What’s taken your fancy in this month’s box?
