…Then give this video a watch, where I look rough AF and thread my eyebrows!
In this video I show you how I thread along the top of my eyebrows, as this is the easiest part to thread on yourself. When it comes to underneath your brow, you can thread but it’s riskier as this skin is more delicate and easier to hurt :(.
That’s why I tend to just tweeze this area as normal.
Let me know what you think if you find it useful, or if you think you’re going to give it a go!!
But it’s an important one.
A Superdrug beauty haul went up on my channel a yesterday (I’ll leave you a link near the bottom of this here post) and in it I said how I went to Superdrug to get an eyebrow pencil but left with everything but the eyebrow pencil *sniff* :'(.
What that meant was that I had nothing left to do my eyebrows, other than some nubby old eyebrow pencils, a dried out ABH Dipbrow Pomade and some old eyeshadows.
Little did I know that my running out of Eyebrow Pencil situation was going to make me realise something very important.
Shopping for mascaras is fun actually – sometimes there are quite innovative, new mascaras to try and having long lashes is definitely something that I love about my make up routine!
Thinking of myself as a bit of a mascara connoisseur, I thought I would tell you what I look for when picking a mascara – it makes all the difference to those lovely lashes of yours!
I have been wanting to try a sheet mask for so long and I was so pleased to see that these Garnier Moisture Bomb tissue masks were on promotion in Superdrug so I picked two of them up!
They were on promotion for 99p each which was an absolute BARGAIN (they are usually £1.49). These masks are designed to give you the equivalent of a week’s worth of hydrating glycerin, which is what is in Garnier’s Moisture Bomb Day Cream. They contain pomegranate extract and hyaluronic acid (which is a tick in my book) and are perfect for dehydrated skin.
We are officially in Autumn now, I’ve seen so many tweets and IG posts saying ‘YAY October’ and I’m just sitting here like ‘eh, what’s so good about October?!’ We are in Autumn and I am looking forward VERY MUCH to the season of JUMPERS, AUTUMN COLOURS, HOT DRINKS and BLANKETS.
Yes, I am aware that I sound like a very stylish granny.
Determined to keep on some of that summer glow I thought I’d give you an update on my highlighter collection as there are a couple of new additions…
I’ve got an exciting video for you where I go through my Make Up Geek eyeshadow collection, show you some detailed swatches AND give you a bonus tutorial at the end!
I have been loving these make up geek eyeshadows and have been using them an awful lot recently…let me know which is your favourite!!
I’ve got a Boots haul to show you which has got a real mix of everything in it! If you’re anything like me, you’ll love a good haul video and when it’s Boots it is so useful to see what other people have bought and what they think of their buys so far.
In this video I show you the latest make up, haircare and nailcare bits that I’ve picked up, so give it a watch and tell me what you think in the comments below!
I’ve posted wish lists before and this is definitely one of my favourite types of posts to write. It has a kind of PURSE FREEDOM that is very liberating, but potentially very dangerous. Somehow, posting about having/buying these products makes you marginally more comfortable with the idea of parting with money for these products.
It’s a double edged sword.
Here we go! Go grab a nice beverage and read up on my latest beauty lusts:
I’ve been looking for a new foundation/tinted moisturiser ever since I could see the little glass corners of my Estée Lauder Double Wear bottle.
It took me a good few trips to my nearest Debenhams (where they NEVER have any staff on the flipping make up counters) and many times of me hounding them for samples to get to this point! Cue the picture of the mini sample pots below…
I’d picked up another sample of the Estée Lauder Double Wear but it was a sample from their cushion foundation stick, a Born This Way Too Faced sample, an Urban Decay One & Done sample and a sample of a Clinique foundation!
I’ve heard alot about Milani cosmetics via numerous Youtube videos where UK bloggers/vloggers have been in America and picked up some Milani cosmetics from american drugstores. I always thought Milani was like the Collection brand in the UK, but the American version.
Then I saw that you could get Milani at Beauty Bay and I thought it was the perfect time to try something from their range.
I chose one of their blushes because of the amazing rose petal design imprinted in the pan!
