I have an exciting video for you that I actually filmed a while ago but forgot to share on my lil’ ol’ bloggle.
It’s a Winter Makeup Tutorial and in it I show you how I applied a cream eyeshadow from Charlotte Tilbury, false lashes from Huda Beauty and a new addition to my make up bag which is the Nyx Liquid Suede lipstick in the shade ‘Cherry Skies’ (which is my new love).
I’ve embedded the video down here for you so go give it a watch, it might give you some inspiration for some Christmas shindigs you might be attending this year!
Hope you enjoy watching!
A ‘kind of’ repurchase has ignited a passion in my that I never thought would appear. A couple of years ago I spotted an Elizabeth Arden gift set on promotion and inside it there was a teeny sample sized tube of the Eight Hour Cream.
I was tempted so I ended up buying it and trying out the protectant as a lip balm – and KABLOOM my life was changed. (I feel like Gretchen Wieners trying to get a word to catch on).
I have a review of an outstandingly gorgeous product for you today – the product is from Charlotte Tilbury and it’s a shade that has been really popular. The Eyes to Mesmerise range features some beautiful eyeshadows and I wanted to try one of the cream eyeshadows.
I was browsing online and I settled on the shade ‘Bette’ which is a lovely antique-y gold which applies like a dream and stays put all night!
*I had to make sure I took a picture before I smushed my finger around in here lol*
It’s been a while, but I am back on the scene 😀 and BLOGGING ALL THE WAY TIL CHRISTMAS YO!
So, as per usual I am late with this month’s December Birchbox unboxing (why break the habit, eh?) and this month is a lovely one!
It has been SO LONG since I’ve posted a nail look on my blog!
Nail posts used to be my favourite actually – mostly because I love it when you get a really good picture showing the finish in a good light!
Next have a range of quite large, flat nail polishes which seem kind of new to me. I noticed them in store probably about 6 months ago and had been meaning to try some of them. I noticed some really quirky shades as well as the normal bright reds, pinks and golds.
One of the shades that caught my eye has an amazing name and an even more amazing colour! This shade is called ‘Teal My Thunder’ , ha ha ha. This name reminds me of the Friends episode where Rachel steals Monica’s thunder lol.
The beauty advent calendar that I went for this year was the Marks & Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar! This calendar has a product value of £250 which is absolutely mental – SUCH good value for money.
The calendar cost £35 when you spent £35 on other things from M&S and I bought some presents for my family for Christmas and managed to get the advent calendar!
The calendar is a sturdy, festive christmas tree which contains lots of sweet little boxes for you to open up, right until Christmas.
EXCLUSIVE – **I am so excited for Christmas!! I will be unboxing a VERY special Beauty Advent Calendar for you, so keep your eyes open! **
There are some amazing Christmas make up gift ideas out there and some even more amazing sales on too…especially as retailers are trying to prolong the Black Friday effect!
Here I’m going to round up the things that should be on your Christmas Wishlist if you love make up and beauty as much as I do (which is a hell of a lot, haha!). These would also make great gifts for the lovely ladies (and men) in your life if they are into beauty and make up.
I can tell you for a fact that out of all the beauty retailers, the one that has surprised me and impressed me the most is actually Selfridges! Just browsing their Christmas beauty gifts shop I can see brand upon brand that people love and really gorgeous, luxury gift sets and ones that are much more affordable.
Here we go!
Good god, I am late with posting these videos. In fact, for once my Youtube channel is AHEAD of my blog wagwan.
If you are anything like me, you love to watch a good old haul. It might actually help you see if there’s anything you’d want to get your loved ones (mainly sisters, cousins, best friends etc)!
I hope you enjoy it! Sit back and have a cup of tea – or wine – and hear me tell you what I bought!
I sometimes find getting my hair cut a socially harrowing experience. It’s an odd place all round I think, no matter what salons try to do, it is. You are trimming follicles that grow out of your head and going specifically to a place that does this all the time.
So I thought I’d talk about the 5 things that definitely cross our minds (or at least mine) when I’m at the hairdressers.
1 .It’s essentially one of the oddest places where they basically help you get dressed…
I have an exciting post for you today, where I’m showing you the Make Up Revolution Mermaid Forever Palette. I was after one of these Make Up Revolution palettes as they are really affordable and I just had to pick which one I wanted to try!
I was after one that had a variety of colours in it so it’d be perfect for a mix of looks – I had a look at a load of palettes but the Mermaid Palette was the most colourful and dramatic looking :).
This palette was a measly £8 and I have to say I was really impressed by the colour pay off of these eyeshadows (swatches are below so have a lil scroll down).
