Filling my Z Palette – Make Up Geek Eyeshadows…

mug-z-palette-roshni-reviews

Ever since I posted about making my own Z palette for a measly £1.50 or something, I have been looking at the spaces left and getting itchy fingers… I had space for around four more pans and I was very excited to finally get around to filling them!

I knew for a fact I wanted very versatile choices which would mean this palette would satisfy both matte eyeshadow looks and more dramatic ones. So after some very careful deliberation, I chose the cream, brown, orange and metallic purple shades in the picture above!

Here are some swatches with the names for your perusal 🙂

Ever since trying MUG eyeshadows for the first time, I was blown away by the formula and pigmentation – especially of the matte shades. They blend like a Nutribullet and they are so good for creating millions of make up looks! Just take a look at Morocco up there – it’s like a carrot on E. I got my MUG eyeshadows from Beauty Bay and even got 10% off my order!

I am looking forward to creating some looks with these – I’m thinking a Kylie Jenner esque matte eye with the orange would look awesome. Are there any colours you guys want to see used in a look?

I love this palette, I think it would be perfect for taking travelling as you have some eyeshadows you could use on their own and then some mattes that can be easily blended together.

These shadows are around £4 each and you get the pan in a little cardboard square – ready to pop into your Z palette or you can put them wherever you want!

You can’t really get better than these in my opinion…what are your thoughts on MUG?

Thanks for reading 🙂

  1. All of these shades are beautiful. I’ve never tried products from Makeup Geek, but I will definitely be trying them out next!

    1. They are lovely! I hadn’t either until this year but they are some of the best eyeshadows I’ve ever tried, plus we can get them easily in the UK now 🙂 I hope you like them just as much! Thanks for your comment 🙂 xx
