Why I Love London At Christmas Time…

Man, I love Christmas! It usually means a trip to London to see friends or family and this year was no different. I love London at Christmas for a variety of reasons, but there is just something so special about the bustle of the streets (or madness, chaos and ridiculousness). The lights, the smells, the dark evenings – it’s just so wintery and lovely!

A Rather Large Clothing Haul…

Good god, I am late with posting these videos. In fact, for once my Youtube channel is AHEAD of my blog wagwan.

If you are anything like me, you love to watch a good old haul. It might actually help you see if there’s anything you’d want to get your loved ones (mainly sisters, cousins, best friends etc)!

I hope you enjoy it! Sit back and have a cup of tea – or wine – and hear me tell you what I bought!

Hi Guys!

If you are on the lookout for a very special gift for a special lady in your life, then look no further! (if that lady is yourself then I’m okay with that too)…

ChloBo have a range of beautiful jewellery pieces in rose gold, silver and gold finishes and they are all made to order using 925 sterling silver, gold/rose gold plating and semi-precious stones. From the moment I went on their website I loved it – working in an e-commerce related job I can definitely appreciate an inspirationally designed website!

ASOS and H&M Clothing Haul! NEW Video Alert…

Hi Guys!

I have a new video for you – I’ve filmed an ASOS and H&M haul for you where I show you what I’ve picked up over the past month or so…

What I tend to do now is collect up things I’ve bought and then show you in one go – that kind of haul lifestyle where everything you show you’ve bought in the past two days is just not sustainable!

(It also includes something from Matalan, which came as a bit of a surprise to me as well lol).

Fact: Pretty Stationery is Essential to Organisation…

Musings

Or at least in the blogging world, it is. When I find myself having to regroup and get organised with my blogging, work/life and social schedule I tend to grab a notepad to make a LIST. You gotta love a list.

I make lists of lists. I sometimes (if I’m being a bit naughty) will write something onto said list in order to just cross it out because I’ve already done it :’). What?! It helps with your sense of achievement!…

My 5 Favourite Things at the Moment…

By the way, how cute is that font though….

So after a couple of weeks away from my laptop and the blogging arena, I am back and ready to go on at you all about the things I have been loving/have been my favourite/have been at the forefront of my periphery most recently.

This is pretty mixed, it’s not all make up *surprised?!*, I thought I’d round up my favourites as I bet there will be something on this list you’ll love too :).

  1. CUTE PYJAMAS:

The print that you see behind the purple artwork above is actually my newest pair of pyjamas. These are from H&M and they are the sweetest pyjamas ever – it’s a set with a long sleeved slouchy top and a pair of elasticated shorts. The print has all things from cakes to stars to pizza to CACTI. CACTI, YOU KNOW.

H&M Pyjamas!

*sorry I think these are in store only, I’ve had a look online and they aren’t there :(*

2. EASY CONTOURING:

I’m going to do a more in depth blog post on this so keep your peepers peeled…but I have been loving absolute idiot proof contouring. If you’ve ever read my blog before you will know I have a face as perfectly spherical as a 2p coin (I chose 2p as it’s a bit more moon face-y than a 1p). Thus, I need something ridiculously simple in order to provide some much needed definition. Cue the Maybelline Master V Contouring Stick which costs hardly anything for something that can create such definition in a little sweepy blendy motion. It’s so easy and I’ll be doing a post to show you how I use it!

3. MASCARAS THAT DON’T GET CEMENTED TO YOUR LASHES:

I have been a lover of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara for a good 2 years or so, but since purchasing a new one I swear they have changed the formula or something because I’m finding it a nightmare to get off. Its definitely not a waterproof version that I have so I don’t know what they’ve done to it lol. Instead I’ve been reaching for the Too Faced Better Than Sex on a daily basis as this is lovely to use and comes off really quickly. You can watch my Youtube review of this mascara here!

4. BEAUTY SUBSCRIPTION BOXES:

Namely, my Birchbox subscription! To briefly explain, it costs £12.95 per month, which covers P&P as well and you get an assortment of sample sized beauty/skincare products, with an odd full size version thrown in in some months! The boxes are beautiful and are perfect for storing your little beauty gems afterwards and I’ve been loving it. You can watch my unboxing of the June Birchbox by clicking here :).

5. EYE CREAMS TO PREPARE FOR WHEN YOU’RE 45 AND WRINKLY:

I don’t know if I’ll be wrinkly at 45, but it’s likely. Very likely, I’m so god damn smiley.

This Origins GinZing Eye Cream definitely feels like it’s doing good to prepare for that time. It’s great under make up as I’m sure it contains light reflecting pigments (but it’s not glittery) it just gives a lovely radiant glow! It’s a bit more pricey but remember, your 45 year old self may thank you in the long run…

There are my 5 favourite things I’m loving at the moment!

I hope you enjoyed this post, leave me a comment on the thing you like the most (or the least, for that matter)!

Apologies for the hiatus 🙂

Lots of love,

Primark & Mini Lush Haul!

Hi Guys!

I have a video for you today where I go through the things I bought from Primark and I also picked up a few things from Lush!

I love doing hauls and more importantly I love watching them – although they are dangerous and you should put your purse inside a scorpion cage and leave it a good 10 metres away from you (if you know someone with a scorpion I am suitably impressed too).

Thumbnail final!

Fortunately Primark hauls won’t break the bank, depends how spend you get! I hope you enjoy looking at the things I got 🙂 leave me a comment with your favourite!

Thanks for reading/watching, as always 🙂

How To Style Tan Leather Boots

Hello Everyone!

I have a really simple but stylish summer look to bring to you…it’s not often that I do fashion posts because I’m more confident with make up but sometimes opportunities (like good weather and a conveniently shedding blossom tree) come along and present themselves and you just have to take advantage.

The spotlight is on these gorgeous Sole Diva tan leather heeled boots from JD Williams, that are available in wide fit and are the softest most amazing quality leather, made in a beautiful *warm yet cool* tan colour.

JD Williams Wide Fit Tan Leather Boots

These are classic boots that will go with so many outfits, but I chose to style them quite casually with a cute t shirt and little dainty jewellery details. These boots are just the right heel height for me, being quite petite. If you want to take a look at the other ankle boots available to buy on the JD Williams site you can click here! The quality of them is amazing, definitely better than your cheaper end high street stores.

These boots are casual enough for day to day but you could easily dress these up a bit by wearing a skirt and tights for more of an evening look. I particularly like the black elastic section which adds another little edge so the boot colour is broken up a bit, I actually think this helps to elongate your legs too!

I love a good ankle boot me…in fact I think I have at least 3-4 pairs…**hey who said that, that’s not true**

Karma Seven Helix Ear Cuffs – Adventurous…right?!

What I mean is that it’s adventurous for ME because I only have normal ear piercings. Other than a fleeting desire to get my nose pierced that’s as adventurous as I have been lol.

Karma Seven are an online jewellery company who sell amazing quality jewellery for a range of piercings, but for boring people like me they also do an amazing range of clip on items and cuffs which mean you can play around with your look without having to commit to a permanent hole in your skin 🙂 (sounds horrible when you put it like that).

I received two Clip On Helix Ear Cuffs (you can take a look at them here), which go on the upper part of your ear and look pretty cool as a subtle way to wear jewellery that is kinda different. I loved the simple look of these and they have just a touch of bling – don’t worry no magpies will come pecking at your ears.

I have reviewed earrings and ear cuffs from Karma Seven before and have always been blown away by the quality and sturdiness of their jewellery – if you wanted to read my previous reviews you can take a look by clicking here and here!)

The Clip On Helix Ear Cuffs were no different – instantly when I opened up the packaging I could feel how weighty the ear cuffs are and that’s not in a bad way! They are made from solid 925 silver (I don’t know the details but that means it’s silver and GOOD lol :)) and you can tell that when you handle them. Obviously as these are cuffs on a smaller part of your ear, they have a section you can expand and close so that part of it is bendy to allow you to securely wear it.

I’m hoping you can see the quality of these from the pictures, but as I’ve said these are amazing solid silver. The cuffs are by nature slightly more fiddly to put on but if you practice you can pull off these trendy, quite subtle little cuffs that add a touch of edge to your look.

Karma Seven Ear Cuffs On

I really love these ear cuffs, especially as there was NO pain involved to get my ear pierced!! Smiles all round! Haha 😀

What do you guys think, would a nose piercing suit me?

I’ve always imagined a really tiny stud like a little gem…but then the idea of pain has put me off!

Thanks for reading guys,
