I know I’ve been pretty quiet on the blogging front recently – things have been pretty hectic since New Year so it definitely feels good to sit at my laptop and type away (tappety tap tap) about something that I love!
Yes today I am reviewing the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade ‘Miranda May’ (£23) and can I just say, I bought this ONLINE. Yes, I bought a CT lipstick….ON. LINE. WITHOUT SEEING IT IN PERSON.
Am I mad? Most probably, yes. Lol I also bought a foundation on the internet which must mean I’m positively doolally. (what a nice word to say, it just rolls off the tongue).
I have a little review of a very pretty little blush compact for you today. A while ago I was browsing the Beauty Bay website and saw this gorgeous matte blush from Make Up Geek in the sale – aptly named ‘Valentine’ (it’s Valentine’s Day soon, had you forgotten?! Tut tut….lol)
A while ago I bought a few things from Beauty Bay and I decided to try something different to the ABH Dipbrow Pomade, mostly because it’s pretty expensive for what it is!
I do like the effect of using a pomade or a more waxy brow product as they tend to last longer and can sometimes have a surprisingly natural finish. I spotted this one from Milani (which is a drugstore brand that’s popular in the US) and thought, ‘for £8 why not give it a go!)
This is the Milani Stay Put Brow Colour and I chose the shade 05 dark brown.
This brow colour is very similar to the ABH dip brow pomade, but you actually get a spoolie and short angled brush so that you can get using it straight away!
Happy New Year to you all, it is time for my first post of the year and I will pre-warn you that this one may make you drool (you might want to get yo’self a bib)
I have bundled together the unboxing of my Marks and Spencers Beauty Advent Calendar into one post for you today so you can hear about all the goodies I’ve got. Feel free to comment with your thoughts on what’s here and if you’ve had this advent calendar this year let me know what your favourite products have been!
I’m trying to type with acrylics on and it’s really hard *and clicky* :(. I’ve got a first impressions video to bring to you today, of the L’oreal False Lash Sculpt mascara which I’d been wanting to try for ages.
For ages I have been in love with the Soap & Glory bath products – my favourite shower gel scent was the ‘Clean On Me’ body wash which is the nicest, freshest and cleanest scent you will ever find.
I have an exciting video for you that I actually filmed a while ago but forgot to share on my lil’ ol’ bloggle.
It’s a Winter Makeup Tutorial and in it I show you how I applied a cream eyeshadow from Charlotte Tilbury, false lashes from Huda Beauty and a new addition to my make up bag which is the Nyx Liquid Suede lipstick in the shade ‘Cherry Skies’ (which is my new love).
I’ve embedded the video down here for you so go give it a watch, it might give you some inspiration for some Christmas shindigs you might be attending this year!
Hope you enjoy watching!
A ‘kind of’ repurchase has ignited a passion in my that I never thought would appear. A couple of years ago I spotted an Elizabeth Arden gift set on promotion and inside it there was a teeny sample sized tube of the Eight Hour Cream.
I was tempted so I ended up buying it and trying out the protectant as a lip balm – and KABLOOM my life was changed. (I feel like Gretchen Wieners trying to get a word to catch on).
I have a review of an outstandingly gorgeous product for you today – the product is from Charlotte Tilbury and it’s a shade that has been really popular. The Eyes to Mesmerise range features some beautiful eyeshadows and I wanted to try one of the cream eyeshadows.
I was browsing online and I settled on the shade ‘Bette’ which is a lovely antique-y gold which applies like a dream and stays put all night!
*I had to make sure I took a picture before I smushed my finger around in here lol*
